Met them on the ride in Richmond Park today. Usually they are much farther from the roads but today their were two herds of different deer grazing very close to the roads. Don’t know why the other herd (spotted deer) was by the road but this one was there for the shaded pool of water right on the other side.
I find if funny how many people come to ‘see’ the park on their cars and just drive around the 4 open roads before heading back. Then they stop on single lane roads to take photos of any deer that might come close. What will it take to get these people out of their cars and walking around the park. Or at least rent a bike and ride around the park. They don’t know what they are missing :|
Thanks for the like, Marta! And glad to see that you’re still visiting :)
Those are some very tame deer! Clearly, they are not hunted in your part of the world. Excellent pics!
Tame, of course! Nope, they are not hunted here. Specially not where I saw them, inside a royal park!
Being a smaller island, we hunt smaller animals – mainly, the fox :)
